After reading previous reviews I sort of knew what to expect ! It’s an old building which we found quirky. The breakfast room was lovely in keeping with the building and the breakfast itself was excellent with lots to eat and drink ! The staff were lovely and friendly especially at reception telling us where to go and how to get there. ,

The building itself is lovely and must have been impressive when it was run with a restaurant and bar etc. There was nothing we didn’t like really except the tv went blank after about half an hour . The toilet was noisy and difficult to flush but being Yorkshire woman we sussed it out ! Anyone who loves curries should visit The Gurkhas in the village which was excellent! All is lacking here is a bit of tlc on decor in the rooms and a bit of paint on furniture.

Beautifully renovated and well equipped property. Lovely bedding and linen. Nice location on main road into town but just a short distance into town centre. Excellent blockout blinds in the bedroom but street light from front of property still came through to bedroom. Good communication and handbook in the property. Lovely backyard.

Parking is just on the Main Street out the front so need to be careful of time limits. Was a little bit tricky finding the house number. Use the directions given in the messages and use the neighbouring business in maps, rather than the accomodation address.
