The cooked breakfast was ok, though the bacon tasted like it had been cooked a while and dried out. There was only 1 member of staff that we saw, both at check in and breakfast. There is no desk so we didn't check out as such, we just left the key with other ones by the welcome sign. The en suite left a lot to be desired, it is in need of updating. It looked tired and a bit neglected. The wallpapered ceiling was a bit tatty!

The gaps around the bedroom door which meant zero noise insulation.

Wasn't expecting too much from staying at a Wetherspoons but it was cheap and was in the right location...how wrong was I?! It was better than the usual well known travel hotels which are twice the price. A/c actually worked, room was huge, comfortable and clean bed, lovely bath with rainfall shower. Staff were excellent as well (as they usually are at 'Spoons'.) Will definitely be using them again.

WIFI in the room wasn't very good and kept tripping out on my laptops although seemed to be ok on my IPad.

Dog friendly and very cosy! Clean bathroom with excellent essential oil shampoo that was a nice touch. Wide choice of breakfast, lovely poached eggs on toast :) Very close from Looe train station, only a couple mins walk.

Nothing in particular, just one slight quibble was being in a room upstairs,in the "crows nest" as such,it is pretty cramped in & for someone who is over say 6ft 2 (I'm 6ft) the top of your head would almost touch the ceiling.

Great location. I arrived very late and the local pubs and what not were already closing for the night so no problem with the noise.

Breakfast was really good, scandi style platter and fruit yoghurt and homemade granola were high lights.
