Breakfast was OK. Arrived very early plane into Southampton arrives 8am . Ask if possible to get early check in. No room available until 1 pm. Surely this is not a fact A. Hotel would not have been full. B. Early check outs rooms would have been available from 10 am at latest. C. Family members have worked in your hotel chain so know this is true. When you have been up all night sitting around reception for 5hours is NOT FUN

We liked all generally, but we didn’t stay long. The sheets were clean and towels were a nice addition. The kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. The living room is nice to rest in the evening.

You could see that the quality of cleaning is subpar. There was so much mold on the bottom of the shower curtain, and all the skylights had so much cobwebs. It felt as if the cleaning was only done in the centre of the rooms.

I had booked 1 night on line then rang the hotel to book an additional night and was told both nights would be in the same room. When we arrived there was a lot of confusion about this and we were told we would have to change rooms for the 2nd night ( highly inconvenient ) Eventually after some time it was agreed we could stay in the same room.The room smelled strongly of mould and damp and the windows were screwed shut. We put the air conditioning on and went out for the evening but on our return the smell was even worse. It was the early hours of the morning but there was no way we could sleep with the smell.My daughter has asthma and I was worried about her breathing in damp and mould spores so we had to move. The view from the second room was a brick wall even though my one stipulation when we checked in was that I didn’t want to look at a wall. The room was already massively overpriced as Taylor Swift was in town which is why we were there but I knew this when I booked and was prepared to accept the higher price but was still shocked at the basic facilities, confusion on arrival and smelly room. I travel a lot for work but this is definitely the worst place I have stayed
