The room was set up like a hotel - Absolutely comfy bed, easy check in/ out. Amazing private quiet spot close to Derry Londonderry. Sat outside for an unobstructed sunset view 👍 what a steal for the price.

- everything’s great - Just want to note this - Google map will take you to the back road. Do not follow that. I lost signal on my way there and hence missed the host’s detailed directions and parking instructions. I followed google map and had to clear some branches to get through (still got the car scratched so you’re welcome future back road users 😂)

The room could have been bigger or less beds in it, there were 3 double beds. The accommodation was very basic, very small, no TV which was advertised. Couldn’t have a shower as water was piping hot and couldn’t be adjusted! There was nowhere to put anything

The ‘kitchen’ facilities were a little lacking but I expect it I read the listing again it was clearly stated the level of appliance and utensil availability.

Has the essentials - clean and in a good location. Room a good size.

Beds not comfortable, bathroom door doesn’t lock, noise from downstairs bar on Friday nights. Breakfast expensive and not worth it. All the downsides of an old building (uneven floors; boiler broke giving no hot water first morning) with none of the advantages (interior completely redone in generic hotel style with almost nothing to show you’re in a historic building).

It takes a lot for me to complain and do a bad review. To start, there were a few things missing or broken/damaged throughout the property. The worst were 4 dining chairs missing screws so they could not be used, and the fridge had no door shelf so we had to put the milk on its side. We found loose nails on the stairs, which could have led to a serious injury. Property had not been properly cleaned and also found the knives dirty with old food on them and old makeup on the walls. I tried phoning a few times, but nobody answered the phone. For a place that was supposed to be checked and cleaned after every booking, I was very disappointed.
