  Friendly helpful staff, clean, comfortable. Generally good quality everything. I like that your room isn't made up unless you want it to be. Too many hotels just go in every day regardless. Sometimes in England motorcycle riders are treated like second class citizens. Not here. Everyone is equal. No daft snobbery

  The room got little warm and there didn't seem to be any aircon. Otherwise absolutely superb. The only other niggle is gravel in the car park. For TT Fortnight that should have been swept up

  Friendly staff and great location. There is parking at the back and easy access to the hotel separate to the pub. Nice big room with twin beds, large TV and a lovely lady who cleans the rooms, makes sure we have enough tea etc. Eating places galore in the surrounding area. All in all a great place to stay.

  Three nights of Karaoke across the weekend! The cup holder in the bathroom comes off as it's just placed on precariously.. could hurt if it fell off and lands on your foot. No lamp on the drawers by the TV which makes the area very dark. Pillows were not very comfy but I'll bring my own next visit, these are not things that would stop me from staying again as the positives outweigh the negatives.

  Selected the hotel because of good connections by road, and value for money. And also the family room which we needed for part of us. Definitely worth it, with spacious room and even a bottle of water and a bag of crisps waiting for us. Nice breakfast also. Recommended!

  A very warm welcome and great hospitality from Rachel and Wayne. Nothing was too much trouble. Great breakfasts and always as much as I could eat. Location on the main road into Barrow was handy for me.

  Quiet location and ample room parking. Lots to do if you have a car and like getting out and about.

  Wasn’t cleaned very well, bed was lumpy and broken window in main room that wouldn’t open. We stayed in silver but felt it was more bronze. A little more attention to detail on the cleaning would make it better.
