The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.
3
After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

In this place I was also in the shared room with four beds for four women. I loved the experience and the girls I shared with were very respectful of each other's schedules and sleep. The bed was comfortable for me. I must also say that the location is very good, a few blocks from a metro station that served fairly central lines such as Picadilly and the District Line and there are many food options nearby including the supermarket.

Fabulous hotel, location was perfect. Car park fee was ok for the location. Plenty of staff and a really interesting historic building.

Nothing to dislike

The front of house staff were friendly and helpful. The property was clean, although there was a strange smell coming from the shower.

The bedroom was very small and the bathroom had a strange and not very nice smell.

Just what we needed. Fabulous location near city centre. Easy access for luggage. Great shower. Clean.

Nothing. Perhaps the bed could be bigger!!!

Bus stop just over the road so travelling into York ridiculously easy.

Nice apartment once inside. Great communication from host.

The bed is broken with an uneven base so that was very poor. The entrance is down a back alley which is all overgrown and pretty off putting. Coming and going to the door at night is quite off putting

Good location

One tiny lift that was often in use by staff made it challenging to get to our room. Late checkout arranged but no one told us we would need to change our room key. A lot of stairs just to be able to get in as we found ourselves locked out of our room. Fuse blew when we turned in the jug, no PowerPoints for a couple of hours.

Impolite and non responsive management. A week ago, Asked to check out a day early than the booking, didn’t even get a reply. Person who answers the phone doesn’t want to talk on phone, keep telling you “no, no, no. Send an email” and refuses to listen to and talk to you. Toilet has a glass above sink that shows to the upper floor, no privacy at all. Worst internet connection in the World Constant noise day and night. Next doors still having construction. There is an area where you can step out, which should be only accessible to us, but had other people in there, imagine people in front of your bedroom. The same bedroom of which you can’t lock the window. So someone else can easily get in through that area using the unlockable window. The door to the apartment doesn’t have a knob, you have to pull it out through the key when leaving. The outside door lock is faulty, you can try 15 mins to get in but be unsuccessful. It was funny the guy who gives the key to try to demonstrate how the trick works and be unsuccessful in his few tries.
