Easy parking, nice large airy room, bathroom fine. Breakfast, restaurant and bar food good. Sauna and steam room very good - but it was half-term and the pool was overrun by noisy children. Bike wash facility very useful. Good base for exploring the area on bikes. Friendly helpful staff, especially those in charge of the rooms. Excellent, very relaxing treatments for myself and my wife by the lovely Tegam and Tia.

The whole property was lovely, 2 very clean bedrooms and a great living room/kitchen area to sit in. The garden was private and it was great to be able to use it during our stay. Around the property was very quiet and there were some nice local businesses nearby too. Would stay here again!

When we woke up in the morning, the power had gone out in the kitchen/bathroom and none of the lights throughout the property would turn on. The host was very responsive on message however, we were unable to take showers etc before checking out.

Good location, big room, bathroom fine, nice bedding, parking a good perk, although we took the train in the end.

No chambermaid service. Washing the cups and glasses in the bathroom sink got a bit old after three days, tea stains on the cups. It would be fine for one night or - either provide a basic chambermaid service like a hotel or provide better self catering facilities - a kitchen sink, more cutlery and plates, maybe a microwave. Otherwise three nights a bit too long. It falls between being a hotel and being self catering and not quite either. Airbnb effect I guess.

The chairs for the dining table need refurbishing. As well used, material comes off when you sit on them, making a mess. WiFi very very slow.
