  Helen's cottage was perfect for our short stay in Oundle. The cottage was extremely clean and is well located, just off the high street and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Helen provided milk, chocolates, tea and coffee on arrival and communication was smooth throughout.

  There is no parking with the cottage (which was communicated before our arrival) but we found parking without restrictions on Inkerman Way, just behind the cottage, accessible through a pedestrian cut through.

  For anyone wanting the experience of living in an eighteenth century railway carriage, converted for domestic accommodation, this was ideal. Matthew was a brilliant, friendly, attentive host. The location, yards from the coast was convenient.

  The location address was not clear enough. It took us a while to find the property. We were given the wrong key code by Booking.com. VERY hot, so hard to sleep. Very noisy when windows left open. Fan would be a good idea.

  Good kitchen and shower facilities in the room.

  Noisy, hot, not that clean in the room and communal areas, toilet didn’t flush great either, no remote control in our room and after calling and messaging about it and nothing done. We brought one on the Apple Store on our phone as only way we could use the tv. Bed was broken and very uncomfortable, lumpy pillows and only 1 each.
