The apartment is very well situated; within the city walls and close to all amenities. It would be difficult to find a better location. The apartment was spacious, extremely comfortable and excellent value for money. The owner was very prompt in replying to our questions and we very much appreciated the welcome treats. We had a lovely visit and hope to stay again when next in York.

Had a wonderful week-long stay. Bill and Pauline are excellent hosts, friendly and attentive. It's a perfect location for exploring the Lake District, and the superb breakfast, which can be adapted to your needs, sets you up well for the day. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
