The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

Thoughtful conversion of an older building with no 'corporate' branding - it felt as though I lived there. Accurate description of how to find the property, which was in an excellent location behind the cathedral and Cathedral Supertram stop. It was a good-sized apartment with a separate bedroom from the kitchen/lounge. I found the property to be clean with appealing local artwork. I was aware of other residents coming and going, but it was generally remarkably quiet; the policies prohibit parties and stag/hen bookings.

(Possibly due to my lack of strength/height) I was unable to open the secondary-glazed windows. I couldn't work out how to operate the hob. The main light in the bedroom flickered, not pleasant to turn on. Accessibility: After reading my message that I have a disability, I was moved to a 'ground floor' apartment, which was very kind. Please note, though, if you have mobility issues, there are two steep steps to the front door, and then several steps inside the front door to access the ground floor.

Great central location, cosy little flat, all essentials were provided including cot and high chair for baby. All kitchen utensils that you would need. All in all we had a nice stay and felt at home. The deposit was refunded within 24 hours and the host was responsive.

No lift in the building and the washing machine was very loud. I think the floor under the washing machine was slanted making it wabble a lot.

This was our second stay at Orchard House. It is a good base for local seaside towns and is set in a peaceful, secluded area if you are looking for a chilled week away. The pool is lovely.

I can only speak as someone with limited mobility so stairs for me are always a problem and as I highlighted on my last stay, getting in and out of the pool without a grab rail or something is a little difficult.

I liked the simplicity of check in. I liked the cleanliness of the room and I like the fact that towels were supplied.
