We booked last minute for a family of 4 and a furry dog, and the total cost was £260 including breakfast. It was a pleasant staycation, and the staff warmly welcomed us. Our room was a Deluxe one, unexpectedly very spacious with beautiful big windows and natural lighting. Unfortunately, the dinner was fully booked, so we had to eat at the bar. The kids' meals were delicious, and my children loved them. The adult food was okay; however, the steak, which cost £33, lacked flavor. Additionally, we asked for new baby potatoes, but normal potatoes were delivered instead. Breakfast was super delicious and perfect for the family. I highly recommend this hotel, especially for a dog-friendly staycation. We would definitely love to come back again. Thank you!

Had a burger with triple cooked chips in the evening, on arrival, very good. Very quiet location, although in middle of quite a large village. Staff were pleasant and very helpful.

Door to bathroom in room squeaked so loudly no chance of a quiet quick visit in the middle of the night. Needs hooks in bathroom as only place to put any clothes was on top of toilet seat or floor. Pillows on bed had def seen better days and need replacing. Asked for mushrooms with scrambled eggs for breakfast, got one quarter!! Came across as very mean.

Would have appreciated a email the day before arrival to remind us about bedding and booking in. Had to email 2c with a number of issues which were dealt with quite quickly but should have been dealt with before. Dirt found in several places.
