The location is great, not only within the local area, but the actual farm itself felt very safe. It was very easy to collect the keys, the property is clean and tidy, and perfect as a jumping-off spot for various things to do locally. The hot water bottles were a nice touch, as it was really cold for June! Great to have a play space for younger children on-site, too, although it's a bit of a trick to find it. Coffee machine with pods was much appreciated, as was the info on places to eat, supermarkets and takeaways.

The bath is very high off the ground, and my elderly mother did not feel safe stepping out of it. It would be easy to install a grab-bar to make this safer. Likewise, the shower is positioned in such a way that you have to stand with your feet on the sloped bit of the bath to get under the water. Not safe for anyone. Of course one could simply have a bath but this would be easy to fix with a bit of extended pipe to ensure the shower head came out far enough from the wall over the bath. Other than that the facilities are great.

Met all our requirements whilst travelling with two dogs, accommodated us with downstairs room, little goody bag for the dogs was presented to us Food was self service and very good, lots of seating to eat, dogs allowed in seating area nearer to reception which worked for us rather than having to leave them in the car

Charge of £25 per dog so £50 on top of the booking for us. We accept we have to pay for the dog to be with us in the room but as responsible dog owners they were well behaved, on leads, taken out for their business even in the middle of the night as one is a puppy. Our dogs don't disturb others by barking so believe the charge was excessive. We have stayed at other places where the charge is £10/15 which is an acceptable charge. Although we understand that not all dog owners are responsible and the hotel is left to fix any problems left

The location was excellent as we were attending a music event at The Empire so it was a 3 minute walk! Also, very close to the train station for us. The room was spacious and airy too. We loved it! The idea of the ‘help yourself’ breakfast was good.

On taking a shower in the morning, I noticed a big, black patch on my towel, so it wasn’t clean. The tiny, delicate china cups really weren’t fit for purpose for tea/coffee. Larger, more sturdy cups would have been more beneficial.

There is no breakfast. Good location The hosts tried there best and were very nice people, a little overwhelmed.

A b&b should have a cooked breakfast, that’s expected

The bedroom was clean and the bed very comfortable. Plus the breakfast was delicious.

We felt like just a number ,not very personal experience and the tanned ,young receptionist wasn’t very friendly. The breakfast room was also very cold . It’s quite a sterile environment, not that warm and welcoming feel you’d want in a country house hotel .

Only hooks back of door for clothes. Bathroom modern large and clean BUT nowhere to put Toiletry bag except floor, not even shelf. No rail for towel by basin. Only floor to put luggage. Sloping roof as you walked from window round bed, had to be aware.

Sound insulation was a problem. Shower thermostatic valve was slightly dodgy. Lack of fresh fruit. Yogurt was out of use by date. Fish (haddock) was tasteless.
