It was nice big and spacious, very clean and everything in its place and working order! Definitely would stay again or recommend to a family/friend. Amazing facilities provided washing machine, microwave, iron etc all tucked away in this room, loads of storage place aswell as a double fridge to shop large shopping.

Our host Michael was very welcoming and friendly and his 300 acre farm is worth a visit whether you stay or not. Gently rolling Scottish lowlands with a thousand sheep and thirty horses. We had three wonderful nights of quiet and seclusion and beauty and the best sleep available.

Not much. A slightly larger bed with a better mattress, but other than that, I have nothing to report.

Fabulous place and location. Great facilities for cooking and self catering.. Not giving 10 because we were woken by fire alarm at 1.15am and no member of staff was evident to guide us so we all trundled back to bed out of the cold when it went off.

The management made key collection simple. I liked the 'personalized ' decor - The kitchen seemed to have everything we needed for cooking for ourselves. Also felt so quiet and tranquil.

We informed the hotel that we were on honeymoon, but there was no mention of it during our stay. The location and the setting of the grounds were great.

We had a superior room the only thing that was superior was the bath in the middle of the room, the shower room and toilet was uncomfortably small. There was a black cheap chipboard wardrobe in the room. The carpets were well worn. On the Tuesday morning they had a delivery outside our room at 6am. We've had better rooms in a Premier Travel Inn with a good night's sleep guaranteed or your money back. The setting and the area around the hotel is lovely which is probably why they are able to charge £320 a night for the room which certainly wasn't special. Our bill for the 2 nights with meals was £965 the staff generally were very nice especially on the reception desk, there was one waitress who wasn't very nice and gave the impression that she didn't want to be there. Can truthfully say we'd never go again. We were expecting something special and it wasn't.

The room was clean and tidy lovely shower room and handy small kitchenette. It was perfect for a short stay and was dog friendly.

There was nothing to dislike for a dog friendly short stay .

A warm welcome from Peter and Archie. Very well equipped room with separate seating and kitchen. Very clean and new.

Bedside cabinet at one side of the bed hampered getting in and out a bit and the kitchen tap moved when turning on/off.

Our room was fairly small at the top of the hotel- next time we would be sure to book one of the larger bedrooms.
