Good location. Although there is no parking with the property, there is a public car park virtually across the road at £6.10 for 24hours. The bed was amazing -extra long -given my husband is 6’6” (2 metres in new money), to find a bed that he completely fits in - no feet hanging off the end - is rare. Kettle, teeny fridge with milk, bottles of water, tea bags etc, little plug in radiator and books to borrow. Nice. Also view of the sea from the main window.

The en-suite was a strange affair with a normal door that had been sawn in half to make a fold Up door on a rail… except there was no way to properly pull the door closed from the inside - and there were significant gaps round the edge. Not really conducive to comfortable use of the loo when this opens onto the sleeping room. The sink to the facilities were in the bedroom. Odd overall. There seemed to be quite a lot of shifting furniture / rearranging going on - drilling through the wall at 9am Sunday, a bit of bumping and doors closing outside our door. I felt like I would have had more quiet resting in the car across the road. For me, not great.

This is a great hotel in the centre of Manchester. I've stayed a couple of times, location is brilliant, staff are super friendly & the bar is great. Only niggle is the rooms are dark. But I love this place - my go to when I head to Manchester.

Excellent location, very easy to get around London from this spot. The room was luxurious, larger, clean and comfortable. The staff were very professional and helpful. Excellent value in London.

Avoided high up room due to restricted mobility with knees but low room still had 20 stairs before we reached the room. No food or drink allowed in the room or a fine imposed of one night's stay - unrealistic when they had no room service. At the end of the day when we have been out all day and eaten at lunch we just wanted a sandwich and a drink in our room. Breakfast was not brilliant, 2 different sausages ' which I found strange, overcooked, bacon fatty and undercooked. Asked for egg well basted it was rock hard. No fresh fruit at breakfast.

Room could do with black out blinds or curtains as there was too much light coming through the existing blinds. Be very wary, every person in your party must have some form of photo ID to be able to stay!
