Good food and drink choices. Helpful friendly staff. Good location near Grasmere and easy access to fell walking. We had a great walk to Helvellyn taking a pack lunch from The Traveller's and it was lovely to relax in the beer garden afterwards in the sun

Very clean and tidy. The location was amazing and view was stunning. Food was delicious and very fulfilling. There were a lot of amenities and the presentation of the place was excellent.

It was quite inconvenient that the shops around the hotel closes early at 16:30 as shops aside from these are hard to come by and very far from the hotel. I asked for room cleaning, but the beddings weren’t changed. Also the signs for the car park were misleading as it directs you to go straight ahead to get to the car park, when you should make a sharp right instead as if you were to go straight ahead you would find yourself diving off a cliff straight into Ariel’s mermaid kingdom. They should change this as soon as possible to prevent accidents as well as adding reflectors or lights especially when it’s dark out and you can’t really see much and the directions are less than correct.

Availability of spa though this should be inclusive in the hotel night price. Separate bath n shower. Large room with seating area.

Hotel needs upgrading in many common areas. Tv was tiny n old. Inbuilt furniture and doors very shabby n old. Replacement of towels was an ongoing issue. For a 9 nights hotel stay i would have appreciated a fully refurbished room.

The hostel is impeccably clean and the beds surprisingly comfortable. Has just about everything you would expect at a hostel.

The showers were clean but you had to choose between burning yourself and taking Ng an ice bath. You can also hear every little thing that goes on in the hostel from your room. The walls block no sound. No problem for me but a light sleeper would really struggle.

Very little . The location was very good. However it was down a very unpleasant street and the entrance was hidden and ugly.

The manager was not available at the property which was extremely difficult to find. We called her a couple of times and she eventually came. She showed us our room which was small with a three quarter width bed and the shared bathroom was down the corridor. We had to pay a £100 deposit which she wanted in cash. To be fair we hadn’t read the small print. We didn’t have cash so she agreed to a bank transfer. We were told we would only get it back after the room was inspected the next day by either her or the cleaner. She said the cleaner would be there by 10.30 we wanted to leave by 10! The next day we waited for an hour and half for someone to inspect our room. The manager sent us a rude reply when I asked her to come because we needed to leave. When the cleaner arrived we had the indignity of watching her inspect our sheets for any damage. It was so embarrassing. We had left our room very tidy and had pulled our bed covers back. We then had to wait for the manager to refund our deposit. We weren’t prepared to leave without our refund as they could have accused us of causing damage and not refunded our money.

The location was good as it was conveniently central. Room was clean and staff were nice :)

Not the most attractive location compared to other parts of bristol, it’s right by the shopping mall. I felt like it was a bit disappointing as we spent more to stay here as it was a 4 star hotel, but I felt like it was quite outdated and not the nicest but fine for what we needed. Also window was quite small in the corner of the room so it was quite dark :’)

The only thing I liked was that they're based in a quiet area - that is it.

The 'serviced apartment' was just a hotel room with a sink and oven in the entrance. The room was filthy, floor was layered with dust with dated furniture and was not good value for money at all. I had to pay an extra £150 upon arrival for 'damage costs' which I have still not had returned. This place was more like a dirty bedsit, not an apartment. If you're reading this, I would think twice about staying here - do not waste your money. The photos we saw of the room are not accurate at all.
