Advertised as a luxurious apartment with a price to match, it was the exact opposite. Dirty floor, dirty table tops, dirty cutlery drawer, ice-choked freezer, poorly maintained with scuff marks on the walls and damage around a power point, very cluttered with cheap ornaments, paper flowers and plastic plants, poor quality furniture, cupboards full of old cardboard packaging, excess bedding and a fan, unnecessary furniture (2 chairs, a barstool, and a big floor lamp with no bulb), 4G wifi that was slow and unreliable (in London, a city where 5G wifi modems are available – I checked with Vodafone UK), one missing blind, another that unrolled with a crash, others with broken cords, one with no cord at all, a shower stall with no tiles on the floor just grey sealant and a door that didn’t seal and leaked water all over the bathroom, toilet flush hanging loose, and no folder with instructions for the appliances (had to get those from the web). The host, Saira, who was very apologetic for the apartment’s multiplicity of defects and deficiencies, did take away most of the clutter and the excess furniture but never managed to fix the blinds or the the toilet flush (and no, 8:30 at night two days before we left after our 3-week stay was not an acceptable time for the maintenance man to come round). And before anyone accuses me of exaggerating, the deficiencies I have listed are demonstrably true (as my legal friends like to say) and I have the photos to prove all of them. Sadly, I can only put up 4 of the 32 I took, but you’ll get the idea.

Bedroom rather warm. Breakfast table in ‘overflow’ room seated next to propped- open Georgian window with very grubby/dirty windowsill , old coffee lid and discarded wine glass… ..told local manager.. Pool lacks sufficient seats with many families inside on Saturday afternoon. Quite expensive

Shower was ground floor n my room was on 6th floor tide stairs with luggages was disaster to bring them up then down with no elevator if you have back pain neck pain knee pain ankle pain spinal pain call 911 before you get to your rooms

Fans in bathrooms need sorting. No small plates kitchen Could not watch normal tv Manual of how things work would have been good. Bedroom and bathroom doors so annoying keep opening unless wedged. Door to balcony only 1 opened Table on balcony had to wedge paper under leg not to rock. Whole place looked tired. Saving grace view stunning so close to beach. 3 flights of stairs not so much.
