The breakfast was a bit of a disaster. No food coming out, kept having to ask staff for plates, glasses etc we had a time to go down. There were no croissants, left or bakery goods, just toast. This spoiled our experience because it was our wedding anniversary, and the room was beautiful there was a lot of staff, but none of them doing the own each area, which would have been better instead of everyone, not knowing what they were doing

When we went down for breakfast, our cases and coats, we’re on the bed ready to pick up when we went back to bed was made with the old bedding. The bathroom was cleaned which we needed to use, so we had to tell the maid in the corridor that we had to use the bathroom and sat on the bed. Why clean a room when you’re only due to check out at 11 and this was 10 am we was going to have a coffee before we left but felt we couldn’t because she had been in the room and cleaned it but not change the bedding for the next people, I don’t understand it

The b&b is set up as a traditional tea room and everything has been well thought out to give a comfortable homely look. Carol the owner is very amenable and helpful. The gardens surrounding the cottage are exceptional. The breakfast was of the top standard with locally sourced products, will be returning there the next time we go to Dorset and hopefully we will treat ourselves to one of the teas

Nothing not to like. Everything was clean and tidy, perhaps there could be more space for bathroom necessities for make up etc., but really just being over critical

If you go to an EasyHotel expecting a vast luxurious room with chocolate mints on the pillow you missed the point! The room is small, the facilities minimal but all is clean, comfortable bed and very nice shower. Convenient location for Northern Quarter and Manchester City centre. And of course very cheap! Half the price of most other budget hotels in the area.

Could have done with thicker pillows, and/or more than one each. Perhaps could have got some from reception but too knackered by the time we got in to be bothered. Still slept OK, so not a big deal.

Very friendly, well-run hostel with nice atmosphere - everyone is welcome. Communal space is user friendly and pleasant. Have always found it a chilled, happy place.

Toilets and bathrooms could be better equipped and a few more of them. The rooms can get quite hot and there is some noise from the outside - but that's to be expected in a busy area. Not sure why there is no recycling - all the waste seems to go into a huge bin in the kitchen.

More fresh fruit available for breakfast Scuffs and missing washbasin fixture trim made it feel a little tired How tight the car park was and leaving the car where neighbours might find it inconvenient Water glasses and spoons not often washed but no tea towel to do it ourselves! tissues in the room would have been nice

My only issue that the exact location of the property (when trying to locate where it is) is not very well visible with a number 23 on the property. I walk passed it several times and even to owner of the property next door did not know where 23 was
