Location was great. Short, minutes, walk into the town centre. Plenty of free car parking. Hotel was modern. Room was very clean and warm. Everything you need was provided for. - hairdryer, iron, ironing board.

Receptionist was "dour", unfriendly and not welcoming . Not a good first impression. How hard is it to put a smile on your face and interact in a happy and friendy way with guests. So unlike the night porter - he was so welcomiing, friendly, with a happy cheering smile.

Location and proximity to Motorpoint Arena and city centre are great. A smoke alarm was beeping in one of the other apartments, needing a new battery, and this was attended to very quickly

There are 4 apartments in the block that share one parking space. So your odds of getting it aren't great. All other parking in the area is permit holders only so you face overnight parking charges in one of the city centre car parks. They don't make this clear in the ad, so it is misleading. We were very lucky and got help from a couple of neighbours, so worth knocking a few doors if in the same position.

I stay here every year at same time to meet up with friends and its always good breakfast and great hospitality. Great to stay for bikers as its safe and bikes are out of the way
