Great little pub in a quiet friendly area. Full of locals so nice atmosphere. Room allocation was a bit slapdash and convoluted but all done with banter and friendliness, with still time before last orders to enjoy a drink at least. Perhaps a more comprehensive, foolproof check in procedure would be advisable. That said, we had a pleasant stay and caught our bus into Filey early the following morning rested and rejuvenated. Shared bathroom (shower-room with WC as expected but this was not an issue as it's right next door, perfectly clean/ serviceable and only shared with one other bedroom from what we could see.

Excellent location to walk to and from town and has parking available outside. Our room was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast room had a pleasant view over a bowling green. Tony is a superb host, great conversation and goes above and beyond to make your stay a great one. Breakfast was excellent and made to order.

Creaky floorboards above our room weren’t ideal for a light sleeper. Our room had an external bathroom which was absolutely fine, but (Im being picky here) a mirror in the bedroom would have been great.

Room size was suitable for 2 persons, the overall hygiene level for the place was good. The property location is great compared to the price paid specially that it's surrounded by all type of amenities which is available to late evenings.

The room furniture needs to be renewed as it's a bit old, it doesn't provide the most level of comfort but it fits the purpose.

The owners were lovely and helpful. Would definitley recommend especially if you want to be out of the way of the noisy city centre and beach front.

The only downside was that the I could not use the coffee machine in room Ormesby as it needs/needed descaling but no major drama's.
