The apartment is unique and beautifully decorated.We had a lovely welcome and nothing was too much trouble.The location is amazing ,this really is a wonderfull place to stay and would highly recommend.absolutly perfect for relaxing ,sightseeing and close to many attractions. We will definitely be returning.

Excellent location for shops and restaurants, and beautiful Abbey Gardens opposite. The service was outstanding, especially from the concierge, (Steve) who went above and beyond in helping us to settle in. All staff were polite and attentive, and the breakfast was really good.

Although our room was tastefully furnished, the paintwork was a little tired. The hotel car park is very small, and although we were able to use it, some of the guests' cars were moved to an off site car park. This was not a major problem, as the concierge was always on hand to retrieve the vehicles if needed.

Rooms are very comfortable. Food is not gastro pub but still very decent. The location is a superb base for a walking or touring holiday of the Lake District.

The level of service and general welcome/friendliness relies heavily on Sam and the leadership she provides for her team. If she's away things can slip a little - not to the point where it becomes a 'bad' experience but it does take the edge off the normally excellent sense of welcome.

The building was very run down and room was dated and had water damage on the wall it needs more facilities ei fridge hair dryer maybe. And coz it is also open to cancel users to stay in it also has a smell from them cooking in there room so u feel Ur in a block of flats

The breakfast was not worth £12. Canteen self service style. Small cold plates. Help yourself to instant coffee from a jar.😟 Free internet in the bar/lounge but must pay for the service in your bedroom.

Eggy smell in the bathroom was very unpleasant. Sofa bed not made up and bedding and towels not provided for our children. Weed smell coming in through the bedroom window. Vape found under the bed.
