The location is brilliant, really close to the promenade, walking distance with a push chair. Beds are creaky but comfortable, duvet in the main bedroom is lovely. No noise on the street at all may here the odd car at night but that's it. Living room has TV and WiFi and is a nicely decorated room. This was a good priced place and you get what you pay for.

Struggled to unlock the back door then when we could open it it then took a long time to lock it again. So didn't go out in the garden in the end which is a shame as it's a good size yard that gets a lot of sun. The lock needs replacing in my opinion.

Loved that the sitting area downstairs was open 24/7 and we could get food/drinks anytime, nice breakfast. Nice big room for the 3 of us. Staff were very warm and helpful. Comfy beds! Downstairs sitting area was nicely decorated and very homey.

The room smelled very strongly of cleaning product when we checked in -- so strong that I had to get some scented oil and reeds to counter it. Otherwise, everything great!

Had stayed before...handy for return trip from Colchester. Breakfast was excellent, couldn't fault it. Had a little trouble with the shower but a member of staff came up and sorted it.

Being in the same room again 🤣😂... Bed side lamp not working and pretty sure it was not working last time i stayed arpund 9 months ago.
