The check in experience was seamless with extremely professional staff. The hotel room was a great size with an extremely comfortable bed and a large functional bathroom with a bath. The breakfast was excellent with a continent buffet and personal service for cooked options. Staff were very friendly and professional. We had drinks in the elegant bar that was very cosy on a cold, wet evening. The staff made it a personal experience that we thoroughly enjoyed. Close to town (we ate in town for dinner). Would thoroughly recommend this beautiful, well appointed property.

The hotel was lovely. The staff were very welcoming and the accommodation was in good decorative order and clean. The breakfast was well prepared, and there was plenty of choice. The hotel is dog friendly, but there was no compromise on cleanliness despite this. The location is ideal, situated on the sea front.

The bar and lounge area didn't give me a feeling of a welcoming atmosphere. I found it quite difficult to walk up to the bar with my dog as the space was quite narrow, bringing me into close quarters to someone with a dog who my dog wanted to get to know.. Therefore, holding my dog and attempting to order was quite difficult. I would have appreciated someone coming over to help/serve me.

The attic apartment was nicely decorated with delux windows and home furnishing. It had some lovely finishing touches such as tea, coffee, sugar, and milk. In the bathroom, there were complimentary shower gels and shampoo. There is plenty of parking outside on the side road.

The ceilings are slanted, so my husband bumped his head on more than one occasion. I could not work the combi oven/microwave even though there were instructions. The television did not work apart from bbc iplayer. I telephoned the company 7 times, and every time, they said they would sort it out, and nothing happened.. so bbc iplayer it was. It would be nice if you could put some information on local places to eat, visit and how to get around. Like buses and the lovely train ride into St.ives.

Communication with the hosts was excellent! It is very central & close to the bus stop and wharf. The pillows were comfy. The kitchen, well laid out. Shower pressure is good. Compact, cosy apartment.

Steep stairs so not suited to anyone physically challenged. The sofa bed can’t be used to sleep on as it over folds and isn’t flat, but dips down at the head & feet. The rooms are very small.
