A lot of effort has gone into it and I really appreciated the cleanliness and the facilities: fully stocked kitchen, washer, awesome lighting options, 2 bathrooms, nearby parking and more! The location is within 5-10 mins of 2 large supermarkets, 5 minutes from a lovely green space, and the same for the historic centre. Tip: If you are struggling to get hot water from the bathroom tap adjoining the bedroom, simply turn the shower on for a few seconds and you will get hot water from the tap. We really enjoyed our stay. Amelie is a fantastic host. I don't think we have stayed anywhere better. Thank you so much.”

  I think it's the best guest house that I've ever been. John is wonderful, everything, literally everything is oriented towards making the guest feel welcomed. Very clean, AMAZING garden, really in touch with nature (2 pet mini chickens that I loved, Hasel and Cranberrly - don't know if I spelled it correctly, squirrels, birds, lovely flowers), and still super close to the centre, to everything that You need. Great addition is the coffee and tea machine, the spotless bathroom (practical also for people with back problems like me). The room was reserved without breakfast, but the additional stuff that You can drink/eat in the morning without any supplementary cost is literally all you need in the morning. Really impressed and would love to visit again. THANK YOU, JOHN !!!

  Really clean when we first got there, felt comfortable right away. Nice bathroom with towel warming rail, forgot to take pictures. Tea, coffee and daily Biscoff. Nice to have a restaurant on the premises I guess though we only went once and didn't like it enough to go back. Right by a bus stop and short path to train station. I suspect it may be best to get the larger room option because I noticed most of the worst comments were from people in smaller rooms so maybe those are older/less well maintained.

  Cleaning was kind of a joke after initial check in. Some days nothing, one day some guy came before 10 randomly (no one came close to that time on any other day so super inconsistent) and didn't come back again when asked to please give us a hour. All the cleaning staff would knock once (very light) and then just enter immediately after the short rap. Cleaning was haphazard, like someone was picking one different part of the room to clean everyday, won't change sheets even with stains until I had to ask even though we were there 10 days. Just really lucky it was so clean at the start.
