The location is great, one block off the Royal Mile. We had the ease of the great location, everything we wanted close by, without the noise and congestion found on the mile. The apartment was clean and beds were comfortable.

There was a great deal of party noise outside our room about 2 a.m. The kitchen was poorly stocked, it only had the absolute basics, so we did not use the kitchen. In addition, since we are from a different country we were not familiar with the appliances and there were no instructions on how to use them. The climb up to the fourth floor got old quickly.

Apartment is well set up and in a great location. The church is beautiful and information for collecting keys was very simple. Perfect for a weeks stay away from the busy CBD/old town. Public bus only 5 min walk away.

Information on the booking.com link needs updating. There was no toaster or tumble dryer as listed when we booked. Parking is a tricky so suggest pre-planning. Communication from the owner was minimal. They gave no information on local shops, or public transport, and when we reached out with a question it felt like we were bothering the owner. This is simply compared to other similar stays where the owner went above and beyond to make us comfortable.

Some very basic amenities were missing. Paper towels or napkins, tv didn't work, there was no where to dry clothes or no rack to put them on. The main reason i chose this property was for the advertised washer and dryer.
