Breakfast was very generous and hot. Dinners were standard fair but OK. Kopperberg pear cider was the bonus. I would definitely consider this again for work however my usual hotel which was fully booked for this trip is much nearer the office and serves fried bread at breakfast so the Pennine Manor would be a walking holiday stay not for the working week.

I mentioned I was arriving Sunday between 7 and 8pm. Dinner which was in my package ceases being served at 7pm Sunday. Nobody mentioned this which was a pity.

A small loft which is good enough for my husband and I. Very clean and spacious and nice bathroom. Not very far from Cambridge main town, and is quite convenient to travel by ur own car. We parked our car right in front of the loft. Good value for money

Great location close to major landmarks and restaurants/shops. Price was very low.

Very basic facilities and didn't feel too secure. Missing light bulbs, back window didn't lock, smoke alarm upside down atop the fridge. Photos are very flattering. Don't expect The Ritz for such little money.

Good central location, it was roomy and it had a washing machine.

The property needs an external number so it can be easily identified if you don’t have email. The external and internal stairs need to be cleaned as this was a bit lacking in care. When we entered our apartment there was a stale smell which required a fair bit of airing. There is a well equipped kitchen but no seating for eating.

Extremely small room. We paid for a „higher” option and yet got the same room as the one advertised in a lower category. Horrible smell from the toilet - as if no one cleaned it for weeks. Ridiculous price to value ratio, but it seems that this is how it is in most of the hotels in Edinburgh.
