Hotel was in a great location with free parking - but got very busy later in the day. Many shops & places to eat 5 minute walk away. Yeah but gets very busy so I’d recommend booking if you want to eat there Room was small but comfortable, shower was good & WiFi was working great. Room was quiet despite being over a lively pub. The breakfast was lovely with a great vegetarian option. Staff were all great. Very friendly & helpful. Especially James who called us to let us know we had left a bag behind.

The veggie options for food in the bar weren’t the best.

Close distance to lake district and lots of other walks near by too such as lover knott coastal walk. The accommodation was spacious and had a smart TV. Two bathrooms is always nice but we only used one to reduce cleaning for staff. Kitchen was well stocked except no sponge to clean with or dish washer tablets. The site itself was lovely, great to walk around.

The accommodation is next to a very noisy 50 mph road which made it hard to fall asleep or even sleep in. There is a Trainline near by too. Noisy work men maintaining site at 8am (not the owners fault). Double bed was uncomfortable, not ideal for anyone over 5ft 6 as too short. Brown stain on double bed sheets on right side and the same stain on the single bed left side.

It was conveniently situated, making it quick and easy to get to the shops. Perfect for anyone looking to stay with all close to amenities

I can't believe how awful this hotel was. It's probably safer to sleep in your car than in one of their rooms. The towels were so hard they felt like cheese graters, and the spoons in the cups were dirty and covered in sticky sugar. Everywhere I looked, there were stains on the floors, carpets, and even the walls. I haven't had a spot breakout on my chin for years, but this hotel managed to make it happen. The breakfast was so horrible that I ended up having a conversation with a fellow customer, laughing at how the hash browns were swimming in grease. This place is a nightmare. I stayed here six years ago and thought it would have improved by now, but nope, it's still just as dirty and horrible. Avoid at all costs!

Great location, good secure building, good sized apartment.

The temperature in the apartment was an uncomfortable 23 degrees and couldn't be lowered as the heating was already off. The corridor outside the apartment was 27 degrees, so I think there is a problem in the building? As the lounge and bedroom doors open over a noisy roundabout it's impossible to get decent ventilation without noise and pollution. There was no hairdryer and it took a day for the host to respond and source a hairdryer, which meant I couldn't do my hair for an important meeting :( The double bed was very uncomfortable. A cheap mattress with metal springs that you can feel. I had to sleep on top of the quilt. A decent matress topper would help? The property needs several repairs and some cleaning up - dirty paint, very dirty lounge curtain, bedroom curtain only covers 3/4 of the window, kitchen bin broken hinge, broken clothes rack in lounge, the balcony furniture needs replacing! Not great considering the price. The temperature was a real problem. In the height of summer, it will be like a greenhouse. This property needs some attention and love! Property owners are too focussed on their profits and show no consideration for the paying guests and their comfort. I suggest they spend a night in their apartment and they will see the problems for themselves!

This hotel only sells a bed and a shower, the minimum of the minimum, i do not understand why charging 100£ a day. The room is extemely tiny without a closet. There was no minibar to store food so I had to eat out every day. There wasn't even an air conditioner, I was hot all week. The shower didn't have a hose, so it was difficult to clean yourself properly. the housekeepings make a lot of noise all morning The location is terrible, it is around a parking lot full of restaurants, far from markets and pharmacies. To go to the city center you would have to call a taxi because walking is quite far. They sell the minimum and charge a lot, I don't recommend it and I don't intend to return.
