The apartment is clean and tidy in a brilliant location. All bedding and towels were provided. The kitchen is well stocked (although there is no measuring jug). Plenty of storage space in the fridge and freezer. There is an iron and iron board if needed. Great WiFi connection. Some of the chairs around the table are wobbly but plenty of space to seat 6 people. Both showers are fab, the main bathroom is definitely the nicer shower. We didn’t really hear any neighbours but there was quite a bit of noise from the street from pubs nearby.

The apartment was very warm and the windows don’t open particularly wide to allow decent air flow. The pillows are like lumpy cotton wool and the mattress on the double bed felt like it was tipping towards the door and made you feel like you could fall from the bed. There are no instructions on what to do with the general rubbish or recycling. We did try to call the number on the booking but no one responded. The parking nearby is quite expensive if you’re staying for a long period and there is no where close by to unload your luggage. The second bedroom with the bunk beds is very cramped. There isn’t a huge amount of room to get in and out of the door. Neither of my kids could sleep on the top bunks as the ceilings are lower than normal rooms.

Such excellent communication about how self-check in and access the property securely - very clear explanations. The apartment was very spacious, particularly the internal stairwell. All the basics were there and the lounge area was funky and cosy - a nice mix. You felt nicely tucked away from the busy street outside. It was calm and relaxed - just what was needed after a day of sightseeing. It provided the space my family needed to unwind. I would return.

My biggest issue was having to decide whether to part with 500 hard earned British pounds for a refundable deposit for a one night stay as a family of 3 (with the potential to have to argue or fight to get my money back), or pay £50 nonrefundable to avoid the potential hassle of this. Essentially this added to the overall cost of the rental. It probably was in the small print, but after reading the details and reviews of many options on the app, I missed this when finally making the booking, so it felt like a sting. You could hear passers by in the street at night as the windows were only single paned. This didn't spoil our stay as we were there off-season so it wasn't overly busy. The main bed was terribly uncomfortable - I woke every 45 minutes to adjust position as I ached so much. The en suite toilet was tightly fitted against the wall so you had to use it at an odd angle and there wasn't much room in the room. At first, I liked the eco-basin above the toilet cistern, but it wasn't very practical for using to wash one's face in the morning or even brush your teeth without dripping water on the floor. The floor boards creaked a bit but you couldn't hear any noise from surrounding apartments (they may have been empty).

Spa being included in the room price is a great deal. It's a really great getaway hotel. We stayed with our 6 y.o. son and enjoyed spending time at the swimming pool. The staff was amazing and helpful. Unbeatable value for money.

The place is amazing. We were there many years ago and the transformation is excellent. All of the staff were fabulous. Thank you for making our stay so memorable. We will return.

The kitchen and bathrooms and living space was clean. The flat is spacious and close to town.

Felt like a student flat rather than a deluxe apartment....some of the furnishings were damaged, the bedding was tired had stains and the pillows flat. Upon entering the flat it smelt of weed, not happy to stay in this environment with kids. The towels were small. The area is far from nice. Walked home at 6.45pm after dropping my daughter to a concert and walked past 3 homeless blokes scoring drugs from a guy pulled up in his car. Not pleasant just near the flat.
