  The disabled bathroom facilities were perfect for my elderly Mum and the room was very spacious to manoeuvre her wheelchair. The breakfast was lovely and all the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful.

  Set in a beautiful landscape with fantastic views from the hotel room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok.

  Very tired and dated. The sash window would not stay open, good job I took my book I used it to prop it open. The water pressure on the shower was not good. My daughter ran out of water halfway through showering due to their water softener system causing the water pressure to drop. The manager did help by turning this off so my daughter could finish her shower. The fire alarm went off twice in the morning. There was black around the windows outside. There were cobwebs on the ceiling. The staff were good I felt sorry for them as they must get some stick and complaints. I’ve not stayed in a best western hotel of such low standards before I was taken by surprise. The room was not cheap £165 so I would have expected a higher standard. Not the ritz but not what felt like a bed sit room either.
