Shocking service from booking.com. Hotel has been closed for a period of time and when contacting booking.com no help whatsoever, they hung up on us 3 times. Leaving us stranded with nowhere to go. Finally found another hotel no thanks to booking com.

The hotel was nice and modern we had a nice room. The breakfast was ok for what was there. My friend was vegan and was impressed with the number of vegan friendly milk options Staff were very pleasant. Central to the centre which was good.

The room was too hot. We rang down for maintenance as the air condition didn't work, but no one answered, then rang again, but no one answered any of the calls I made. I even rang off my mobile, and I was just put into a continuous loop, so that was irritating. I was already in nightwear, so I didn't want to go down to reception The bed was very uncomfortable, which meant I didn't get much sleep at all, plus the fact it was so hot. The breakfast was ok, but for what I paid for compared to the wait, I ate was too expensive. I only had beans, hash brown, and bacon. There were no mushrooms or fried eggs, only scrambled, and the crossiants were raw inside, which was disappointing.

Tap in en-suite was supposed to turn on with movement detector - it didn’t always work so could not always get water straight away. Could not control water temp - so washed hands in Luke warm water & teeth in same Luke warm temp - personally I lake hot water to wash hands & cold water to wash teeth. Insufficient parking Staff friendly but run off feet in restaurant & hotel area.

The house is a hovel! Filthy from top to bottom. One badly stained 2 seater settee, no coffee table. No bedroom furniture, no drawers, no wardrobes, apart from the cubby hole in one bedroom with one hanger! We had to put our clothes on the bedroom floor. Every window sill had dead insects and cobwebs on there were cobwebs every where, it looked like it had not been cleaned for weeks. There were no kitchen utensils at all, the frying pan had the burnt dried on remains of a meal long ago eaten. No kitchen table or chairs. Not enough space here to tell all. !!!!!!! AVOID THIS HOUSE !!!!!!!!
