When we checked in Neil and Kelly were very hospitable and could not have been more helpful even offering to carry our bags… Our room was lovely and our bed was very comfortable…There was a wedding party on that evening and the staff had placed us at the back of the hotel to avoid any noise which was very thoughtful… In the morning we had a lovely buffet breakfast and everyone was so kind to our little dogs Sooty and Sweep…A special thank you to lovely Connie and Andrea…. We would highly recommend this lovely hotel and if we are ever passing we will definitely be back….

Outstanding! This was my third accommodation on the South West Coastal path and by far the best. A warm welcome, all the more appreciated by the fact they’d called me en route to book me in for dinner as they were getting full. How thoughtful? The room had a beautiful view, comfy with a luscious bath for my aching knees. Most of all the glorious food. Fish and chips unlike any I’ve experienced, the whole meal was a treat. Thank you Blue Ball Inn, cannot recommend them highly enough.

The staff were lovely and the food was good. The shower was the best I've ever had!!!

No bodywash in the shower. No shelf in the shower to put your own toiletries. Pump bottle not working for soap dispenser next to wash basins. No teaspoons. No instructions on how to work TV which kept cutting out!! Signal issues at a guess. Very uncomfortable bed. Nowhere to sit with a mirror for hairdrying and makeup. No bottled water supplied and the cold water from the bathroom runs warm, not ideal for drinking.

The staff was friendly and facilities were good. The room was clean so no issues there.

The room was very cold and even when the aircon was set to 25 degrees it was blowing cold air. When I reported the issue they couldn’t do anything about it and the only solution offered was providing more blankets. Having cold room ruined my sleep on both nights, which is why I wasn’t happy with the comfort of the room.
