What's not to like. A friendly welcome , a beautiful and picturesque/ quiet location in an immaculately clean and tidy lodge. Nothing you don't need and everything you could. A spot of fishing on the doorstep, literally, or just sit in the well managed garden round the lodge. If you want to see the local attractions its a 5 min drive to coningsby and the BBMF or watch the typhoons or 15 mins to the Aviation centre. Absolutely amazing and value for money.

The room was excellent and big enough to relax in. The sea view was excellent and the balcony was OK. The bathroom was interesting with the modern pacing of the toilet and we really liked how everything was folded behind display units.

No food available on site even though the website said it was available. No explanation from Staff at check-in as to why simply they 'don't do food'. Broken light in the bathroom along with the blind.

I am disabled so couldn't get up the stairs, the first downstairs room we were taken to looked ok but the smell of damp was unbearable, I should of said to the member of staff that took us to the room there and then that this room was no good to me as I suffer with COPD and severe Asthma, I went and found the girl and explained that we couldn't stay in that room, she agreed the took us to the other downstairs room, that to smelt damp no where near as bad as the first room, we took the room as we were going to a wedding in the zoo, We didn't get any manager or supervisor come to see us and apologise about the room, I did her a gentleman with a member of staff go into our first room and I heard him say that the room was smelling of damp in he thought it was coming from the walls he also mentioned the state of the walls in the corridor that patches of what looked like damp patches, the lady did say it was on the to do list, it was very expensive for these downstairs rooms especially the way they were, very very disappointed
