The room was very clean and comfortable, the breakfast was perfect, the host very nice and welcoming, location is great, there was free parking.

Would have been nice if there were bigger towels and better shampoo, yet really for one night it was OK. For a longer period I would recommend bringing your own shampoo.

Nice building set close to the countryside and easy to reach from Gatwick airport.

To our surprise the hotel had not invested and installed a lift so you had to drag your suitcases up the stairs. The room also had no independent heating apart from the bathroom.

It's a very busy pub and very loud. But once in room there was no noise to be heard. But as we had stayed several times we knew what to expect . Not much else in the area for food and drinks so you were kind of stuck.

The dining area and bar was drab and no atmosphere, felt like eating and drinking in a college rest room. I was double charged at the bar for 2 drinks which I had already paid for, unfortunately I did not have my receipt to prove I had already paid for the drinks and was charged again before I checked out.
