Quiet for sleeping which amazing in central London! The control panel for the all lights was very useful. The coffee bags a nice touch. The restaurant/ foyer part very welcoming and good vibe. In the room itself there were good number of hooks for hanging up clothes and jackets.
Negative section of review
Just a suggestion- more hooks in the bathroom to hang up towels so they can be used again, in keeping with the hotels’ excellent sustainability ethos. The price on the Monday was almost double that on a Sunday.

The shower door didn't seal properly and all the water flow out. Aircon was not working. The room is extremely small and just got one small space to walk in and no place to even put our luggages. Room was facing the back alley with lots of pigeons hanging around.
Negative section of review
Extremely small room with no space to move around. Shower stall is extremely small that is suitable for only small child.

Very friendly and welcoming staff, perfect for our family for a one night stopover on our way up north. Comfortable beds and nice linen. Breakfast included which was a bonus and restaurant available for dinner. Free parking.

Nothing.

The location was lovely, right on the Loch. The room decor and furnishings were very tasteful and comfortable. The Molton Brown toiletries were a very nice touch. The restaurant is decent, with awesome views.

The Munrow room we were in was in a new block set back from the lake front. This means the rooms overlook the car park as much as the lake itself. In addition our room was on the end of the block so only had half a balcony. Some rooms in this hotel have wonderful views., but not all! Be careful! None of these details are advertised, so it's a bit disappointing to choose based on the great photos online, then be allocated a room that gives a very different outlook.

We have stayed at the Altens a few times now and have never been disappointed, the pool and spa is really good as is the breakfast.

The meal at night could have been better. it was served with cold chips which to be fair were replaced when I mentioned it but did feel it was an inconvenience.

The only downfall were several hairs in the bath but the staff were quick to amend that
