I loved this hotel! Such a great location on the highstreet just a short walk from all the venues I visited. The two bar guys I mostly came in contact with were brilliant, welcoming, funny and friendly. They both made me feel comfortable being a solo female traveller and I thank them for that. I would definitely stay here again!

The room was quiet,clean and roomy. The evening meal was excellent value for money with good quality food and good size portions. Breakfast again was good quality, excellent service and lovely out look over the pond.

There needs to be more specific information on how to get to the hotel from the nearest motorway junction. A good map would be most useful plus written I description / directions on how to get there. Google maps was very confusing as it kept wanting to take us off the motorway miles away! Also our request for directions to the hotel was not answered!

We arrived to be told our room wasn't ready and this was way after 5:30pm and we had somewhere to be! We were kept sweet by been told they had upgraded us, but it was the room we paid for anyway. The hotel from the outside is full of scaffolding, not very pleasant to look out of the window at!

Staff were rude on arrival too busy on their phone and just pointed to what I had to do to check in ! Hotel was very warm and the air conditioning in our didn’t work. The shower didn’t work properly the shower tray was dirty. Bed was very small for two adults !
