We had the nicest experience with Mornington Kensington! The hotel is located in a very nice area - it is close to the tube, but it’s also ideal if you like to explore the picturesque surroundings by foot. Our room was nice and clean. An iron, hair dryer and toiletries were available in the room. We were even lucky to have a view towards the street with all the beautiful houses. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help. On check-out they can safely store your luggage if you have a late flight or departure.

My only remark would be towards the cleaning personal, who was doing a great job cleaning the bathroom the first few days of our stay but then started neglecting some things and didn’t provide us with new rolls of toilet paper (we had to ask at reception for it) when clearly it was visible that it had finished.

The hotel itself has gorgeous interior design and the member of staff at reception was lovely checking us in to our room, giving us complimentary glass of prosecco card and welcoming us. The wellness centre room including the sauna, heated loungers and plunge pool were great and we left feeling relaxed however we had intended to use the gym before assuming it was the same area but you need to book your slots in advance and get a separate key card.

The bathroom in room was small and quite awkwardly placed. We did feel there could’ve been better communication; regarding the wellness facilities, we had mentioned when checking in that we were booked in for 5pm (this was at 4ish) and that would’ve been an appropriate moment to let us know how to get there and to give us the separate key card for this. As we were unaware of the fact we needed a different card, we wasted time finding the area and trying to get in with our card. Once we went to reception and this was resolved. In the morning my partner had went downstairs to ask for toilet roll and the woman at the desk said she would get it sent it up to our room, after awhile and still nothing came up, I called reception and the man was great, let me know he would be bring it soon and was not long at all. At least an hour after this we had housekeeping with more toilet paper, presumably from when my partner had initially went down to ask for it that morning.

Very spacious and clean room with comfortable beds and ensuite bathroom. Good evening meal, excellent breakfast. Morning lady on duty very kind and professional, explained breakfast is not included in price of room as stated when I booked.

Fit a continuous flexi curtain rail in family bedroom above current rail and put in slightly wider and longer sectional black out curtains. This will fix the problem of exterior pub lights stopping guests sleeping as spot lights don't go off til midnight. Offer a electric fan when they get room key, heating not on but OMG that room was still really hot with all windows open. Bar staff unable/not trained to support staying guests. There is a very clear line between roles and no overlap or team work observed. Manager was mostly contactable by phone number only and often not available.

Lovely and clean, very comfortable room, with amazing shower. The restaurant serves very classy food, with lovely gardens to sit in, which joins onto a huge green space. Easy walking distance to bus station and trains.

Excellent hotel and spa. Rooms are spacious, very clean, well maintained and beautifully decorated. Staff were really helpful and friendly cannot fault anything about this Holiday Inn.
