Excellent city location, everything is around the corner. Easy access to the Metro, even arriving by car wasn't too difficult, short stay parking opposite next to the mainline station and they have a deal with a secure multi storey a five to ten minute walk away

All staff very friendly and helpful. Food excellent, and not expensive. Perfect location for exploring the area. Just check when the live music is on, as you may find it too loud. Otherwise very quiet, hardly any noise from the bar downstairs.

Initially room supplied unsatisfactory. Dark and pokey next to fire escape. To be fair room was changed when a complaint was made, but no WiFi in that room. Staff very nice indeed.

This hotel is largely a noisy construction site. My £165/night, two-night stay with a view of the river to celebrate my birthday (Rm 134) was a MASSIVE let down! The room offered did not have enough room to swing a cat! Me and my partner needed to give way to each other just to pass in front of the bed, and there was no space or rack to put our suitcase. Worse, our 1st floor room was situated directly over a cordoned off area on the ground floor, housing a massive excavator, the arm of which arced up beyond the height of our balcony, which we were not permitted to use! Even worse, there were workmen walking along the balcony, meaning the curtains needed to be closed for privacy. My complaint and relocation request was refused as the hotel was fully booked, but they said they would try to upgrade me the to another room, but without a river view, the next day. At this point, I had not mentioned the size of the room, just the fact that there was noisy and intrusive work taking place during the day in close proximity to my room, using large machinery, with no use the balcony and having to make eye contact with workers walking along our balcony. The next day, on my actually birthday, we were moved to what can only be described as a larger, noisier room on the other side of the hotel. The drilling started about 9 or 10 and went on throughout the day until about 4pm. This was horrendous, as we had planned to stay in and chill on my birthday. However, the loud drilling and banging on steel providing deafening surround sound to our room. Due to the continuous, unbearable noise in the background, I could barely converse with all my birthday callers and my partner had to leave the room in order to have a coherent conversation with our employees. I also had to dodge a workman with steel pole on the way down to breakfast. I have travelled a lot and have never had such a hellish experience. Your site mentions construction activities during 2023, not 2024. Totally...

It is a terrible old flat. It has some rooms. Absolutely is not like these pictures AT ALL ! We couldn’t stay and I lose my money as it’s inhabitable!!!
