We loved our stay at The Royal Oak. It is a special treat. The room (231) was very comfortable, loved the large bed! Staff were very cheerful and helpful, Jordan in particular. The food in the Grill restaurant was so good, we had breakfast and dinner on the two days that we stayed. Can't wait to visit again nearer Christmas xx

I liked the pool, the staff members, breakfast was great too. I think the apartment was a little small but overall I loved my stay here. Very beautiful, great value for price. Will come back for whenever I’m in Manchester again.

The recommended taxi company we booked for a local excursion let us down. Although this was no fault of the Days Inn or their staff it would be nice to recommend alternative taxi companies where available.

The staff were all nice, friendly and helpful. We stayed in the couples' room, it was perfect, especially as it had an en-suite shower room. The location was beautiful.

The only negative was the lack of signal in the area, which made it tricky to find. However, that was bad planning on my part, as I should have written down some directions instead of relying on a SatNav!

Lovely looking hotel from the outside right on the seafront, short walk from the train station, historic building.

Room was small and stuffy as windows wouldn't open, mould in bathroom and in the wardrobe, expected it to be a lot better for the rating and from the outside.
