Positive section of review
Good but a bit rushed ie more time between courses would help alleviate the coffee served prior to meal being cold by time finished eating, and hot food arriving whilst still only eating starter, which had to be left.

It would have been nice to be in main hotel not in other house next door, as being two rooms booked they were not together. Shower head needs repair as only rests on bottom rail.

The room was clean, and a great size. The view out my window was another room so they could see straight into my room, which was my bathroom which wasn't the best.

The hotel locked its doors at night which is great for security but I went out both nights the first night there was a poster up to tell me about a number to call but a member of staff was there to open up. The second night the door was locked and no staff member or number to call! I was banging on the door for 10 minutes trying to get in! This was not great, security wise like I say it's good, but i wasn't told about the door being locked at night and the second night the staff member took too long letting me in!

Lounge was spacious. Comfortable bed. Reasonable distance from tube.

Kitchen smelt awful, sides/floor in kitchen dirty. Cleanliness in communal areas poor i.e. stair carpet not hoovered. One of rooms smelt of smoke. Noisy neighbours. No mirrors. Toilets not very private - bifold doors (glad I was with family).

Instructions for heating would have helped. (Never seen a thermostat like that before, had trouble with booster, was cold one evening) Also there was no non- slip mat in the bath for use when showering, easy to slip in the bath
