The owners were lovely, room was comfortable and meticulously clean in an excellent location, making it easy to get to the pleasure beach the next day. Breakfast was amazing and filling with lots of options (cereal, toast, fruit and so on) with a cooked breakfast also included.

A spacious and clean room with a view of Gorey Harbour, friendly co-operative staff and a pleasant dining area with great menu. Breakfast was good. Very close to Mont Orgeuil, a must-see site.
Negative section of review
It would be good to add muesli to the breakfast menu. Otherwise, no negatives relating to the hotel. Gorey is a lovely seaside spot but be prepared for a minimum 20-minute bus into St Helier and possibly a taxi to the seaport/airport.

The building was amazing. Maintained to a very high standard. It had the old AA three star sign on the entrance that definitely needs at least seven more stars.

Didn’t stay long enough.
Positive section of review
well laid out property, clean and with all mod cons needed. very quiet area so was great to relax after a long day. Check in and out was simple
Negative section of review
the beds could do with new mattresses and better-quality towels. a bit of a drive into Edinburgh, but it was a good excuse to explore along the way
Positive section of review
The room and location were both excellent. We were very impressed with the size of the room as usually rooms are very small in London
Negative section of review
The bar closing at 11 pm. From a customer perspective if you are a resident in a hotel you expect to be able to buy a drink (or at least get drinks delivered to the room) later into the night. This aspect needs to be looked at as it was the first experience in any hotel where either of the above options were not available
Positive section of review
Bedroom comfy and airy, safe parking, lovely breakfast in beautiful conservatory.
Negative section of review
Nothing.
Positive section of review
Polite, helpful staff and the hotel was lovely
Negative section of review
The drains were slightly blocked in the bath and sink. The water would fill too quickly and take a long time to drain away.
Positive section of review
Close to station, shops and pubs.
Negative section of review
This is based off the room we stayed in there is multiple rooms here to stay… The mattress is covered in stains definitely needs a mattress protector, the bathroom had no toiletries other then toilet paper, tv turns on but no channels work, bathroom door doesn’t close properly, room not as pictured, the doorway in has bags of linen sitting there. The door to the room is cracked on both sides like someone has kicked it. Needs some maintenance to bring it back to what is pictured. The stairs have a musky cigar smell.

Location was good
Negative section of review
Roads closed due to Manchester run which I wasn’t told about until last minute. Staff were uninterested in anything and not very helpful in general. Bathroom toilet seat broken, toilet not fixed to the wall. Carpets and timed floor dirty. Grab n go breakfast consisted of a burnt croissant nothing else. Only one set of towels in the room, I asked for another set which never got delivered.
Positive section of review
The location.
Negative section of review
The bathroom is tiny and difficult to maneuver around. The room was not designed for a family. And there was no hot water and nobody offered any solution to it
