The staff were so pleasant. It's amazing value for money here with a cooked breakfast in with the price. When you think about how much work goes into keeping a room nice and clean, and all the bed and towel changing that goes on just for a one night stay, it's really good value for money. The breakfast room is airy, well decorated and has original features. Best word to describe the whole thing - crisp!

Bedroom had all I needed. Separate bathroom was just a few steps away and all just fine. Perfectly clean. Location wise on walking distance from the city and the station. Free private parking, quiet location. Small kitchen was a nice extra to have some options to make some food or a cuppa. Having a bit of breakfast was very much appreciated too!

We actually stayed in a building next door which isn’t featured in the photos. Whilst facing the Loch is beautiful, the main road is very loud, even with ear plugs! The bed wasn’t overly comfortable and breakfast was a huge disappointment.

This is the dirtiest place I've ever stayed in. The room was somewhat clean, towel on the bed, not sure if the bedding was washed to be honest as it smelled musky and there was quite a few dark hairs different lengths on the bed. The floor wasn't hoovered and surfaces not cleaned, the blind doesn't reach the bottom of the window so can't sleep properly. The communal areas were disgusting, I didn't even want to go to the toilet or take a shower. There was half the toilet seat on the floor, mop bucket with dirty water and not sure when the sink, shower or any surfaces were cleaned last. There was coffee, tea and sugar with the kettle but no milk. I wouldn't stay here again
