  Good location in a nice part of Morecambe, a short walk to the sea front, supermarkets, railway station and the town centre. Room very clean, nice shower with gel provided. Good hospitality tray, plenty of little milks, tea bags etc., even a cake, chocolate and a bottle of water. Self check-in easy to follow from text instructions. There was a communal kitchen but as my room was on the top floor I didn't make use of it.

  No hangers in room, only a few hooks. No towel rail in bathroom. TV in an odd position, could not watch it from the bed. A tilting/swing bracket mount would improve this instead of the one fixed flat to the wall. However the main thing that sadly let the whole experience down was the lumpy, worn out mattress. Ironically it seemed just like the one from the hotel across the road, that I avoided this time for that very reason. Could feel the springs bulging through with my hands, it desperately needs replacing. I don't know which rooms the reviewers who mention comfortable beds had, but it certainly wasn't the case with mine. Having a back problem I couldn't have slept in the bed so had to lie on top of the duvet, which helped a bit, and bought a sheet to cover myself with. However lovely a property is, if you can't get a good night's sleep it's a non starter. Sorry.

  Julie was an incredible hostess, going above & beyond to ensure we had a great stay. The place was spotlessly clean & very quiet. Everything was there that we needed. Additionally, it was a comfort to know our car was safe & sound in the car port. Easy access to Dundee, etc. Would stay again.

  It's a hostel, not the Ritz, but it had all the essentials, a surprisingly comfortable bed, decent toilet/showers, and I paid £35 for a private room in this part of the world in June! Half the price of the nearest Travelodge, and far more than half the quality.

  What a perfect location. A beautiful & spacious house with a great feel. A lot of thought has gone into this property. The upper seating overlooking Criccieth and the castle is fabulous.To steal a saying, it's a home from home.

  Garden furniture has bird Pooh on it. Although, there are cushions inside to use which would cover the bird Pooh. My initial thought was ummh. This is the only small point & easily rectifiable.
