The Celtic Resort Hotel far exceeded my expectations, the room was amazing with by far the largest bed I have ever seen. The breakfast was buffet style, however, it was not your typical buffet breakfast, everything was delicious and well stocked right up to the time that breakfast ended. Along with the general hotel, the various lounges and bars were clean, to a high quality and the staff was good at keeping wait time to a minimum when at the bar. On the Saturday that we stayed, a wedding was being held within the hotel, you would have never known. The drinks were a bit pricey, but this did not put me off from spending the evening there as the environment was amazing. The spa was immaculate and spacious, the hot tub was huge and the allocated time slots meant plenty of room to swim, sauna, steam lay etc. I could go on.... I'm definitely going back.

Whilst the bedroom and bathroom was small we were only using this simply as a stopping off, en route to our destination so it mattered little. If staying longer it would have felt cramped. There is a lounge to use if you feel inclined. Hostess provided us with a breakfast pack as we were leaving early, this was most welcome

The lodge was cosy and comfortable. we would not usually stay in studio type accommodation but this was well presented and thought out with good facilities in the compact space. The location is great, very quiet, right by the river and the hosts are welcoming and friendly.

Was my partners birthday and normally when we go away to a hotel with this star rating we get something extra in the room ..bottle ..piece of cake . Etc The room wasn’t cleaned very well after first nights stay .

Understaffed - bar, reception and restaurant ( breakfast) Receptionist at check in was lovely , total contrast to the poor attitude the rest of the time. Very expensive for what you get.
