  This house is comfortable and clean, it’s not a luxurious place and it doesn’t claim to be. It’s reasonably priced, there is a big Sainsbury’s a short walk away to park (paid) and plenty of cafes and restaurants in the area. The host lives downstairs, he seems to be really nice. We didn’t have any issues and slept very well.

  The building is lovely with lots of character, the room (standard) was large and comfortable, the staff were all really lovely and the fixed evening menu was reasonably priced and the food very nice. It was a good base to drive to Sandbanks and Durdle door.

  The hotel is located in the very very few nice small streets in Poole but Poole itself and the almost immediate surroundings of the hotel are disappointing. The view from our bedroom was a bit drab, partly on the public car park were we had to park, which was noisy.

  Unclean. It was a nightmare to get a good room. Although I booked a sea view room, I did not get a sea view room. Reception staffs were not courteous. There is no room service during the stay. There is no free wifi.
