Everything. On arrival we received a very warm welcome. Unwound in the bar after a long drive. We were delighted with our bedroom. Room 4. The room was very spacious as was the bathroom. Everything was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. We had made a reservation for the restaurant that evening. The food was excellent, as was the breakfast the following morning. Parking was not an issue. Plenty of space out front and at the side of the building. We would thoroughly recommend The Old Cross Inn.

Great coaching inn with plenty of parking, food in the evening was superb, the steak and kidney pie was to die for, as were the desserts. Breakfast in the morning was plentyful and very nice. the room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable with lovely bed linen. The room was clean and tidy and toiletries were a nice touch. All the staff at the Lamb Inn were very friendly and helpful, would definitely recommend and visit again.

Really good value for money. The room was a good size and included little extras like a small fridge and a bit of crockery and cutlery, useful as we had a takeaway from Milan as couldn't find anywhere to eat on a Sunday night. A comfortable bed and a couple of chairs and modern TV all making a bit of extra comfort.

The staff were exceptional. They even rustled up some cash when our cabbie was not equipped to accept a card. The Supervisor led us to our room personally and waited until we had looked at and accepted the facilities before leaving us to settle in.

The owner spent some time with me to explain the hotel. Asked what time my ferry was leaving and met me to give me a small breakfast to get me going for the day. Good recommendation on a nearby pub walking distance away for quality dinner.

The price/location of the accommodation is great by London standards. The room was equipped with everything we needed and was ok for a few days.

Immediately after booking, the accommodation informed us that we would have to pay a deposit. Even after we explained several times that a deposit was not allowed (without informing us before we made the booking), they continued to insist. After clarification with booking.com directly and their explanation to the accommodation provider, we were able to check in without a deposit. An absolute no-go for us and totally unprofessional. Unfortunately, the accommodation was not 100% clean. The room was also barely insulated, which meant we could hear all the noises from the corridor.
