The entire staff plus cleaning staff are lovely and helpful! The restaurant downstairs has got a wide choice of food and the stake evening is of good value , including a bottle of wine. There is also a Fajita night and it was delish. They have live music on various nights . We have returned for the 2nd time and we will be back for sure 🙂 Thank you to the entire staff for making our stay so enjoyable !

The on suit bathroom is very small but for a few days it's acceptable. A small shelf over the sink would be useful !

Our room was small but well presented and clean. The decor was pleasant and the tea/coffee facilities were particularly good, being of better quality than one would usually find in a hotel/guesthouse. The location is great being on Gloucester Rd.

Fantastic stay at Durham House. Nette & Col are brilliant hosts, who made us feel extremely welcome and had a lot of local reccomendations. Breakfast each day was excellent and our room was spacious and clean, with a very comfy bed.

On the top floor but no attempt to help carry bags/luggage. No breakfast option but no recommendation from Simran of where to get breakfast. Had to call Terrace for parking options - BTW Bath Place Car Park is best for £3.20 per day. Room: shower riser broken at the bottom, only held on wall at top; bathroom sliding door handle hanging off; chair at desk loose legs. I was unable to report to owner as no-one around when left at 0730. Lots of noise from The Terrace bar downstairs until 12.30am - penalty of living in a student town I guess?

I don’t feel like the apartment had been properly cleaned. I understand there’s always going to be a little bit of dust here and there but we noticed so many areas where there were thick layers of dust and grime such as on the toaster, kettle, in cupboards, the extractor fan above the oven, towel rail in the bathroom and other places. The futon cover had stains and dirt on it that looks like food. The cupboards had leftover coffee and other things, we weren’t sure how long they’d been there. There was used shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom. There were cobwebs above the cupboard. The shower had grime in areas underneath the shower doors. I feel the property needs a deep clean. My partner has asthma and has previously been very unwell in hospital. I was concerned about the level of dirt and dust in the property. This can have a big impact on my partners health. I don’t expect everything to be spotless but It felt like this was dirt that had built up over time. It would’ve been helpful if we had towels provided for us but I did think, perhaps I should have checked if you provided them beforehand. I just assumed towels would be provided. Under the futon and under the bed it was dusty and things had been left from someone else’s stay. The tap in the kitchen had limescale and was very wonky. I have added some photos of areas that could be improved.
