Cosy glamping pod on a working farm in a beautiful rural location with a little kitchen area housing a mini fridge, microwave, and a kettle, along with plenty of cutlery, plates and glasses. An extra treat was the lovely homemade fruit scones, butter, and jam awaiting our arrival, and the little heater switched on low to welcome us. The private shower room in the adjacent cabin had both a heated towel rail and electric heater, so it took the chill off the unseasonably cold June mornings. Definitely felt like a mini home from home, and we would happily stay again if we're in the area.

Only a minor thing really, which is a personal preference - a proper lamp would have let us read in bed after dark as the provided desk lamp didn't provide enough light. Also the springs on the mattresses were a bit creaky for people used to sleeping on memory foam!

Lovely old historic building with wobbly walls and uneven floors which are charming. Staff were very friendly and helpful and helped us store our bicycles safely. They also arranged an earlier breakfast to suit us.

As other reviewers highlight, it's needing a bit of TLC. The bathroom was tatty and the bathroom radiator was jammed on in the summer, so we had to shut the bathroom door and open our window. There was one tiny sachet of shower gel between two of us. Friends staying also had issues with their bathrooms.

Lovely room, the staff where quite over stretched in the food area at night and only one female member of staff on for breakfast for everyone, on the plus side she coped exceptionally well and we didn’t wait long

Well the room was very clean and tidy, the location was very good, the food on our first night and breakfast the following morning was very good, the second day not so good.

The room at the front of hotel could do with less traffic noise, but that depends on what the hotel is allowed to do.

Easy to get in, communication was good, very clean and comfortable. Parking fine and easy. Lucky I was not having to share the property so it was perfect. Overall 10/10

A TV in the room might have been required if sharing the property but in this case was not an issue. Shame there was no coffee - plenty of tea but I don't drink that - not big issues and didn't detract from my happy stay

It was very dirty , there was a used makeup tissue in the bedside drawer, lots of dust around the room , there was old left over food behind the tv , the spoon had food from the last guest on it , there was no hot water in the bath and the shower didn’t work , when I went to check in at 2pm when check in started I had to wait 20 minutes while they vacuumed the room even though when I came in the hosts were sitting no doing anything
