A quirky hotel set on beautiful grounds which appears to have been a stunning Hall in a previous life. Easy to access from the motorway. The room was clean and there was plentiful hot water. Everything about the hotel is very tired and well used. However, if have good manners and you're looking to experience English eccentricity in your host with a Fawlty Towers type hotel stay this is most definitely the place for you. I will be staying again!

The view was amazing, and we had a very friendly and caring neighbour, Kathleen. Tiarnan, the host was always on hand if we needed him which was reassuring to know. Thank you also for the welcoming package, it was very much appreciated.

Location. Plenty of parking. Very quiet. High specification rooms.

We would have liked a sitting area. We hired the whole place and had nowhere indoors to sit or relax. The rooms do not have chairs or televisions. We had difficulty getting a response to a request for the use of an iron. The rooms all have bright green lights on all through the night which we found disturbing.
