The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.
3
After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

It was cozy and homely and I loved all the little area. The location is amazing as it is only a 10min walk into the town. The breakfast was perfect with a continental and a full English. Is definitely value for money. I just wished I had booked for 2 nights instead of one and really got the full benefit of it. Thank you Sarah, you have a perfect little hideaway and I will definitely be booking again.

I like that the apartment is on the ground floor, so moving luggage was easy, except that there are many doors to exit to the road. The access control was good but hard to memorise the codes.

Quite a small apartment.

Wonderful space, very well equipped. Stayed for one night as we travelled to France. Thank you to the owners for their care and thoughtfulness

Lovely quiet location and a beautiful flat, immaculate condition. The host was friendly and helpful during our stay.
Positive section of review
Convenient location, comfortable rooms, good breakfast options.
Negative section of review
The hotel rooms are tired with evidence of previous leaks through the ceiling in the bedroom I had. This was my second stay so the condition hadn't put me off returning but I was aware what to expect.

Location was good, and the place seemed newly decorated.

1. We booked it when it was called a Guest House, and payment in full was taken immediately with a receipt from the Guest House, and then ten days later it changed its name to 'accommodation' so that when we arrived there was no welcome and no breakfast was provided. Four breakfasts at a nearby cafe (Maggie May's) = £40. No apology or refund offered. 2. Communication very bad. For example, we received messages 'If you can supply us with a copy of (scan or picture) of your ID before arrival, please send it to... Followed by 'it is very important that we receive this before the day of arrival'. So was it optional or essential? In the end I spent over an hour trying to send ID but every attempt failed. Attempts by my daughter, and a friend, were also unsuccessful. In the end I phoned, and was told that it was not important. 3. The accommodation was a small attic room (no. 6), with a sloping roof and not even one chair. The double bed was pushed up against the wall. Part of the room had been partitioned off to provide a very small bathroom; a tiny sink, and not even space for a washbag or my glasses. 4. I left my phone charger in the room. I left a message asking for it to be sent to my home address but it has not arrived. 5. The house opposite was derelict, and attracted anti-social behaviour.

Breakfast was excellent. Good value for money

I would like it if I had access to cutlery items like plates & spoons & glasses at night because when we brought takeway in hotel room, we didn't have any utensils to enjoy

Great view, spacious, clean and tidy.
