Everything about this Gracious Guest House was perfect. In a quiet location and short walk to Windermere Village. Spacious bedroom with luxurious linen and fluffy white towells. Tea and coffee making facilities in your room. Breakfast served each morning was delicious, cereal, fresh berries, yoghurt, home made Jams and Lemon Curd to have on toast. Also a choice of a hot breakfast cooked by Hilton who is your Host and Owner of the home. There is a large comfortable lounge room to use if you wish with books magazines and a large television , Hilton can advise you places to visit and points of interest in The Lakes District. We stayed three nights and it was hard to say goodbye to 1 Park Road Thankyou Hilton for the extra things you did for us. Highly recommend to stay if travelling in the area.

The lighting in our room was very poor a safe was within the wardrobe and it impossible to see the safe to use it.The breakfast was very good unfortunately parking was very poor unless you were first car there they had two very large car parks but they where very far away from your accommodation.My wife has problems walking and the site is very hilly in fact the access to the restaurant from our accommodation was very steep.

The problem in finding a parking spot for our motor car to the extent that many guest parked on the road leading to the reception as there was not enough parking bays.The route to the restaurant should be looked at to replace the very steep path for guests who have problems walking.

Fabulous location, a minutes walk from the beautiful beach. Very friendly service received throughout (a special thanks to the lovely Hayley!) and really dog friendly. Food and service in the restaurant was fab. Lovely big room with a great sea view!

A minor niggle but the whole hotel is in need of an upgrade decor wise as it’s all a bit dated. For the price paid, think this needs upgrading.

The caravan itself was very grubby, old fashioned.. no lighting for the outdoor decking area which posed a very dangerous trip hazard to myself and family... The caravan had a strong smell of dog, even though this was a pet friendly van, it smelt and looked like they had homed dogs in there.. Beds were dirty and full of pet hair. Cobwebs all over the seating area outside not inviting at all..

The staff were extremely rude. With the exception of the reception staff who were delightful. However the party we were part of were despicable in their behaviour so I support the staff to a point.
