  This place was a little gem. The room was a great size , super warm and a very comfortable bed. There were stairs to climb to the room , which may be an issue for some people. Tea , coffee , cereal and fresh milk were provided, a great bonus. Warm shower with excellent water pressure. An easy flat walk to the station. Steve was very helpful in dealing with our lost luggage and giving us places of interest to visit. Thank you !

  The room was large and ensuite was great to have, very clean and good location for walking. Host provided an info folder on arrival on the different locations to visit in the area which was great.
- Negative section of review
  
  If you are looking for an early nights sleep - I wouldn't recommend it. It's very noisy outside from pub/club goers (till about 2AM) - perhaps different during weekdays as I did stay on the Friday & Saturday. Hair dryer was not provided - not in my room anyway, haha.

  The location was brilliant very close to bars and restaurants. Shower was very spacious! Receptionist was lovely when we arrived.

  The bed was a small double, very tight for two people to sleep in when one side is against the wall means the person on the outside had to move during the night if the other person wanted to go toilet. The pillows where extremely uncomfortable and hard.

  Travelling from Kent, When I arrived at around 4.30 for a 3 pm check in, my room wasn’t ready, being told my room was still dirty. I Mentioned I had two small children and I had booked this hotel room sometime last year and confirmed I was coming the day before. I was found another room. Parking is good, and registering is easy. But the reception said that if I get a fine to inform the hotel. I think this should be fail proof. I then said that I had tried to phone the hotel a couple of days before, I was on the line a while and no answer. As she said I should phone, I said will my call get answered, she said yes, but I said we wasn’t sure of the location of the hotel and had called while in the car park, as with the nhs signs and the restaurant, we wasn’t sure we had arrived at the correct place. She said she was busy, which I had witnessed from the carpark no one was at the reception and I mentioned I hung up because my call wasn’t answered the day before, so I’m concerned about the carpark situation . Also a problem with the shower head, will not stay in position so makes floor wet, it’s powerful and moves the curtain
